Online Classes for Early Childhood Education
College Online Class Degree Program by Distance Learning Education
Okay so I started this Bible certification program about a year ago just for fun. I wanted to know more about the BIble and it was cheap so I was like why not’ I got married about four months ago and my husband wanted to do the Bible program. It was only 100 dollars to add him it so it wasn’t a big deal. Well, as soon as he started he didn’t want to think about any other college plans until we finished this. I was upset at first because I was just doing this study in my own time. But I was like whatever and have been working really hard to get it done so I can move on with my life. I am 3 classes away from graduating! I am really excited about it. My husband hasn’t really gotten much of a chance to work on it lately because he recently got a full time job and is tired when he gets home. This is disappointing to me because I feel like he’s holding me back from going further in college because he wants us to start together and he won’t do it until he finishes the Bible degree.
Problem 2 is we found out that after we finish the Bible degree program that we could transfer up to 42 of those credits to their online degree. I was looking into their Early Childhood program because I love working with kids and I figure that if I have kids I can still work and have a day care in my house or be a preschool teacher and have my kid at the daycare. My husband liked the idea too and wants to major in early childhood education. This kinda bothers me because my husband does love working with kids but I don’t feel like this is his dream. I feel like he’s just doing it because that’s what I want to do. However, he is so persistent about us working towards the same degree, at the same time, and do all of our classes together. I also feel like most early childhood centers I see mainly hire women. Honestly, I’m not so keen with doing college online either. I like going to school, having my own friends, and us majoring in what we want to. Plus I feel like online you don’t get the hands on experience you’d need for teaching. But I also like the idea of online because I can get it done faster.
I know that if my husband could do anything he wants to do he would probably be an English teacher for high school. However, he originally started college for business because it makes money even though he didn’t love what he was doing. I don’t want him to do the same thing again though.
So how do I get him to finish his Bible degree so we can get on with our lives, try to get him to go after whatever degree he wants, and still complete my dreams at the same time’
